Nespresso Lattissima Coffee Maker Review
The Lattissima is a Nespresso machine that takes brewing one-touch to the next level. You can brew espressos and lungo coffee in a time of less than a minute and it can take the wide range of capsules.
It is also easy to program the machine to brew the exact size drink you desire. a fantastic read is a wonderful feature for busy households.
Simple to use
This black Nespresso machine, which is basic in appearance, is easy to maintain and use. It is simple and minimalist in design, with just one button that controls everything from powering to cleaning to the brewing process. Simply remove the lid, place in a capsule and click to start making coffee. It heats quickly and offers various drink options, including double-shot espressos or a 5-, 8 or 18-ounce cup of coffee. It also comes with a steaming device to add a cafe-like texture to your drinks. We love the small design and simple interface however, we noticed that the machine doesn't make as rich a espresso or coffee as some models that are more expensive. It's also not as easy to recycle the capsules like some other machines in our tests. For these reasons, this Nespresso isn't one of the top choices for our test of side-by-side.
Quick to Brew
The Nespresso machine brews a cup of coffee in about 15 seconds. The hot water from the reservoir flows through a pump which penetrates the tiny holes that are on the top of the pod. It is then mixed with the ground coffee inside before dripping into your cup. We tested the machine with Jones Brothers and Bestpresso capsules and it produced a rich and flavorful espresso with a slight bite. We also tested whole, almond milk, and 2% and found that they all performed very well.
Easy to clean
It is essential to clean a Nespresso machine on a regular basis, both inside and out. This keeps the machine in good order and ensure its security. It will also make the coffee you make taste better. You can make use of various cleaners to clean a Nespresso, including vinegar. It is however recommended to use a descaling solution instead, as vinegar could be damaging to your machine.

To clean your Nespresso machine, remove all the pods. Then, clean the drip tray and the capsule container. Fill a sink with warm water and add a few drops dish soap. Let the drip tray and capsule container soak in the soapy water for a few minutes to loosen the gunk and stain. Rinse them with hot water, then employ a non-abrasive sponge or cloth to scrub off any stains or residues. After scrubbing the drip tray and capsule containers clean them and allow them to completely dry before returning them to the machine.
After your machine has been cleaned, it is time to descale. You can follow the instructions in your user's manual to follow a particular procedure. If not, you can make a DIY descaling solution using citric acid or white vinegar. However, if you're using vinegar be sure to use white vinegar, not balsamic or apple vinegar because they're too abrasive for this purpose.
